Support Cnoc Buí
Cnoc Bui has the potential to almost double the space available for exhibitions and use by community groups, as well as adding an apartment for Artists in Residence, much needed storage space for the permanent collection and an external performance space. To this end we have developed a multi-year building development programme.

Most importantly, you can become a Friend of Cnoc Bui, or an Artist Member, with an annual subscription of €40, or €60 for a couple. These annual subscriptions are essential to meet our running costs, and keep our doors open.
2025 Raffle
To support the building programme you can buy a €10 Raffle ticket with a chance to win €500 worth of art shown in any of our exhibitions. These are being sold at Cnoc Bui now draw takes place at the Summer Party which is being held on Saturday 26th July.
We have a number of different sponsorship options. You could buy a notional ‘building block’ for €250, which will pay for many bricks and other construction materials. To allow us to be energy self-sufficient and keep open during winter, we want to install 17 solar panels, and nine radiators. You could sponsor a solar panel for €1,000, or a radiator for €500.
Institutions or companies that would like to support the arts and community coherence in West Cork could sponsor individual exhibitions, or exhibition galleries. If you know of a likely sponsor, please contact us or more information.
While we know it will take many years to achieve the full potential of Cnoc Bui, we are facing one urgent need. We have the chance of getting a €200,000 LEADER grant to rehabilitate the main two-story outbuilding behind the main house, but if we are successful we have to provide matching funds of €66,000.
