Cnoc Buí is a not-for-profit community centre that aims to promote the arts in West Cork. It is volunteer-led and none of the 30 or so volunteers who are now involved with Cnoc Buí get any form of payment. While the property was donated to the community, Cnoc Buí still needs to pay for such things as property tax, insurance, electricity, building and garden maintenance, security system, banking fees, etc. It also needs to pay an accountancy firm to make financial returns and to ensure that it is tax compliant.

Membership for 2025 is open and details for subscription fees are below. Membership is for any artist who would like to support the development of Cnoc Buí and have a chance to exhibit work in the Members Annual Exhibition.

We will send you an email invitation to all Exhibition Opening Nights and any other functions in the Centre.

You can join our Artist Shed which meets monthly on the third Wednesday of the month
You will be supporting the arts in Ireland, and more particularly in West Cork.
Your membership will allow you to submit up to three pieces of artwork to be considered for inclusion in the Annual Members Exhibition.
