Welcome to The Cnoc Buì Artists' Shed — a vibrant, creative hub where artists, makers, and the local community come together to share, explore, and grow. Based at Cnoc Bui, we meet on the third Wednesday of each month for inspiring talks, workshops, exhibitions, and studio visits. It’s a space for conversation, collaboration, and connection through creativity and there's always a good cuppa.

15 Oct 2025 – Hands-On Workshop
A member-led practical session in a specialist technique, with discussion on resources and tips for experimentation.
19 Nov 2025 – Funding & Open Calls
Guest speaker on arts funding and opportunities. Guidance on preparing strong applications for grants, residencies, and exhibitions.
17 Dec 2025 – End-of-Year Showcase & Social
Members bring and share a piece made during the year. Informal exhibition, reflections, and festive gathering.
21 Jan 2026 – Photography for Artists
Workshop on photographing artwork for portfolios, websites, and submissions. Practical session with tips from a local photographer.
18 Feb 2026 – Social Media for Artists
Exploring strategies, tools, and content creation. Breakout groups to discuss potential collaborative projects.
18 Mar 2026 – Artist Talks & Critique
Two members present their work. Group critique and discussion to deepen artistic dialogue and feedback.
15 Apr 2026 – Guest Artist / Curator Workshop
Visiting professional leads a session on a specialist topic. Planning discussion for a summer field trip.
20 May 2026 – Reconnect & Reflect
Group conversation on projects and inspirations. Outdoor plein air sketching session.
17 Jun 2026 – Plein Air Day
Full outdoor creative session in a scenic West Cork location.
